Disgusting. View the video here:
I thought the people who supported "immigration reform" said that these people wanted to integrate themselves into U.S. society and become productive citizens. I don't see alot of that here. You may try to say that the idiots in this video represent the fringe, but I have yet to hear about any illegal immigrant advocacy group speaking out against such a disrespectful display.

Immigrants Stomp On American Flag
I keep hearing how immigrants are law-abiding people who want to live in peace here in the United States. But I keep seeing videos like the following:
Where are La Raza and other Latino groups when this happens? Why don't they come out and condemn such hateful and disrespectful behavior?

Obama Administration Pushes For Illegals To Be Allowed To Vote In Georgia
Anyone still think that Obama is all about securing borders and keeping safe the integrity of the American election system?
Not after his Department of Justice declared that the state of Georgia was not allowed to verify a voter's citizenship through a verification process. What this means is that Georgia must halt citizenship checks. Thus, illegal aliens can now register to vote in Georgia.
According to Shannon McCaffrey of the Associated Press:
A three-judge federal panel in October ordered the state to seek Justice Department preclearance for the checks under the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the same reason the federal agency must sign off on the new law that made Georgia only the second state after Arizona to require such proof. Georgia is one of several states that need federal approval before changing election rules because of a history of discriminatory Jim Crow-era voting practices. Secretary of State Karen Handel blasted DOJ's decision, saying it opens the floodgates for non-citizens to vote in the state. "Clearly, politics took priority over common sense and good public policy," said Handel, a Republican candidate for governor in 2010.
You can read Secretary of state Karen Holder's response here:
Barack Obama’s Department Of Justice Shows A Shocking Disregard For The Integrity Of Our Elections
June 2, 2009
Should you be concerned about this? Yes, and here is why:
Handel said that more than 2,100 people who attempted to register in Georgia still have not resolved questions regarding their citizenship. Her office's inspector general is investigating more than 30 cases of non-citizens casting ballots in Georgia elections, including the case of a Henry County non-citizen who said she registered to vote and cast ballots in 2004 and 2006. Handel said the checks were designed to follow federal guidelines to ensure the integrity of the vote and that those eligible are casting ballots.
Now, multiply that case by the thousands of illegals who could potentially register to vote in Georgia under the Obama administration's directive.
And don't think Obama doesn't know about this. I'm sure he's done the math more than once and he's knows that he can solidify his power by legalizing million of illegals and getting them to vote in favor of the Democrats' socialist programs.
After all, one of his biggest latino cheerleaders filed the original lawsuit to make this happen:
"We are pleased with this decision," said Elise Shore, Southeastern Regional Counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. "It vindicates our filing of the lawsuit."
Yep. Pleased times 12 to 20 million illegals.

Pro-Amnesty Groups To Help Obama In The Census: No Illegal Alien Left Behind
ACORN, the voter-fraud organization that worked so hard to register voters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Clark Kent, along with pro-amnesty groups like Voto Latino and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) will be helping Barack Obama make sure that illegals are counted as population in the upcoming census thereby helping to ensure that the Dems will maintain a majority and will be able to force their disastrous socialist agenda on the rest of us.
No, this is not the plot of some futuristic movie from the 1970's. It is cold, hard reality today. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke set this wheel in motion when he told the "government's partners" (i.e. ACORN, Voto Latino and SEIU) that the "privacy rights" of census takers would not be violated. What that means is that the people doing the census will not ask whether or not a family being counted is actually a legitimate family or an illegal family.
That will have long-range consequences on the politcal map here in the United States.
Writing for Town Hall, Michelle Malkin has the following:
Obama's census partners are using the process to pressure homeland security agents to halt interior enforcement efforts and workplace raids so that illegal alien cooperation with the national survey is maximized. Inclusion of the massive illegal alien population has resulted in a radical redrawing of the electoral map. The census is used to divvy up seats in the House as a proportion of their population based on the headcount. More people equals more seats. More illegal immigrants counted equals more power. This is not hypothetical. The Center for Immigration Studies determined that in the 2000 election cycle, the presence of non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, temporary visitors and green-card holders, caused nine seats in the House to switch hands. As the think tank's analysis reported: California added six seats it would not have had otherwise. Texas, New York and Florida each gained a seat. Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin each lost a seat. Montana, Kentucky and Utah each failed to secure a seat they would otherwise have gained.
Given ACORN's track record at fraudulently registering voters over the past eight years, it is very likely that ACORN may use those same fraud techniques to influence the census count and make sure that Congress and the federal government remains in the hands of the socialists.
And Obama himself is already making sure that illegals are free to remain in the United States for the census:
The Obama Department of Homeland Security is already continuing the tradition -- reversing the work of investigative agents who have uncovered massive document fraud at illegal alien worksites, and cutting immigration and customs enforcement operations at the knees. During the eight years of the Bush administration, groups such as ACORN received millions of dollars in subsidies. The pro-amnesty faction of the GOP pandered to unions such as the SEIU and ethnic lobbying groups such as Voto Latino seeking to boost their membership rolls. Now Republicans can only stand by helplessly while the political opponents they helped fund use the census to wipe them off the electoral map. You reap what you sow.
I wonder if those pro-amnesty Republicans are going to recant all those speeches they made when they tried to shove amnesty down our throats back in 2007.
Do you, as an American, want the future of our nation determined by a bunch of aliens who entered and stayed in the county illegally? I don't.

DREAM Over: Illegal Alien Student Amnesty Awakens To Fiscal Reality
Illegal aliens have always been a drag on our economy. We've seen it everywhere, most notably in hospitals that are required to treat illegals in the Emergency Rooms even when the illegals have no means of payment for services. This little rule (The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act passed in 1986) has resulted in a loophole that allows illegals to take their kids to Emergency Rooms for regular check-ups, all paid for by U.S. taxpayers and private insurance holders. The result is that the rest of us pay higher prices for medical services and that many hosptials are shutting down because the illegals have bankrupted them.
The next group of institutions to begin feeling the pinch of granting priviliges to illegals is our schools. The Development Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act is going to do to ur colleges and universities what the Supreme Court is doing to our hospitals. The DREAM Act would eseentially be a back door amnesty for illegal aliens at the expense of legitimate Americans and legal aliens. Among other things, it would give in-state tutition to illegals while still charging much higher out-of-state tutition to American citizens.
Writing for Town Hall, Ira Mehlman, Director of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, notes the following:
While public university budgets, programs, and seats fall victim to state budget crises, the DREAM Act would compel all states to provide seats and tuition breaks to newly-amnestied illegal aliens. Backing the DREAM Act would be a body blow to the interests of the people who actually did elect Barack Obama: America’s embattled middle class. Few issues personally concern as many Americans as whether their children will be able to get the college educations they need, and how they will pay for it. Those voters are not likely to be pleased by a bill that takes educational opportunities and resources away from their own kids and turns them over to the children of illegal aliens.
Despite these economic realities, the Democrats are dead set on granting amnesty to illegals in any way possible. Why? Because it would provide them with a potential voting bloc of 12-20 million voters and allow them to continue forcing socialism on the rest of us. The Dems don't care what damage they will be doing, only that they will continue holding power over us, which is their ultimate goal here.
And Ira's parting shot:
An idea that was flatly rejected by the American public during a period of relative prosperity and low unemployment makes even less sense in a bad economy and governments at just about every level facing record shortfalls and deficits. Because of the economic and fiscal realities that he will soon inherit, President Obama will be compelled to make decisions that are painful to a broad swath of the electorate. If the pain is dispensed equitably the public is likely to be understanding and forgiving. If hard-working, law-abiding Americans are asked to sacrifice while people who broke our laws are rewarded and political pressure groups are paid off, the reaction will quite different – especially if it hurts their own kids.
But, as noted above, if the Democrats can make newly amnestied illegals a part of the "broad swath of the electorate," then the sufferings of legitimate Americans will be of absolutely no concern to them at all.

Fifteen Questions For People Who Think The GOP Should Be More Moderate
Over at Town Hall, John Hawkins has fifteen questions that he poses directly to those who think the GOP should move to the Center. But before we get to those questions, let's all understand that the GOP tried moving to the Center in the last two elections and got its collective butt whipped both times. So, you have to wonder why, if that has been the proven outcome twice in a row, anyone would want to embrace such a losing strategy.
The questions:
#1) If both the GOP and the Democrats support bigger government, how does the country survive long term given the size of the debt we already have and the deficits we're running right now? In other words, how can running massive deficits possibly be sustainable over the long haul? #2) If the GOP were to officially become a big government party, wouldn't there be a real danger of having a large third party spring up that would represent the considerable number (I'd say a majority, at least in the abstract) of Americans who do want smaller government and less spending? #3) If the GOP becomes a big government party, how do you see us differentiating ourselves from the Democratic Party? Do we spend almost as much as they do, but not quite as much? Do we spend even more? Do we favor deficit spending, but just on different things? Isn't there a real danger that Democrats -- since their base tends to generally be OK with excessive spending -- could simply outbid us on anything we offered to the American people? #4) Since the majority of the GOP's core supporters don't agree with "moderate" positions like big spending or amnesty, feel very strongly about it, and feel those positions harm the party politically, how can the party continue to hew to those positions over the long term without being permanently at odds with the people who should be their strongest supporters? #5) Let's do the math on amnesty: there are roughly 12-20 million illegal immigrants, most of whom are Hispanics. Hispanics broke 70/30 for the Democrats in 2006 and 69/31 for the Dems in 2008 according to the latest exit poll data. If the split stayed at 70/30 and 12-20 million new illegals were made citizens, that would mean the Democrats would add another 4.8 to 8 million potential new voters as a result of amnesty. The top end of that scale is a larger margin than what Barack Obama won by in 2008. Additionally, even if the GOP improved our numbers with Hispanics -- which we certainly need to do -- we've never come close to getting 50% of the Hispanic vote. With all that in mind, isn't amnesty political suicide for the GOP? #6) Some people tend to assume that Hispanics vote almost entirely on the illegal immigration issue, but I would assert that there is very little objective evidence for that. George Bush and John McCain are the two biggest proponents of amnesty in the Republican Party and neither of them is particularly popular with Hispanics today. In fact, according to exit polls, against a candidate who was thought to be weak with Hispanics, John McCain only got 31% of the Hispanic vote. So, what objective evidence convinces you that Hispanics vote largely on illegal immigration and that if the GOP supports amnesty, it will get us over the 50% threshold with Hispanics? #7) Given that the mainstream media overwhelmingly supports the Democrats, it's extremely important for the GOP to have the support of conservative talk radio hosts, magazines, and the RightRoots. Since the new media is overwhelmingly comprised of conservatives, how does a moderate GOP gain their genuine support over the long haul? #8) Follow-up question to #7: If the GOP can't get the new media back enthusiastically on its side -- which is likely to be the case unless there are changes on spending and illegal immigration policies -- how does the GOP get the base fired up? In other words, if Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, etc., etc., are telling everyone who'll listen that the Republicans stink, how does the Republican Party work around that? #9) Setting aside the conservative media, obviously the conservative movement is lacking energy and passion right now. Many people, myself included, would say that this has a lot to do with the position that the GOP has been taking on immigration and spending issues. How does the GOP get conservatives supporting the GOP again, instead of just opposing the Democrats, if the party continues to pursue big government policies and amnesty? #10) If amnesty, big government, and deficit spending are winning issues for the Republican Party, why did we take such a huge beating in 2006 and 2008 despite pursuing those very policies? #11) Over the last two elections, moderate Republicans haven't quite been wiped out, but percentage wise, they've suffered much higher losses than conservative Republicans. If moderate Republicans can't even win elections in moderate districts now, why would we want to adopt that losing philosophy across our whole party when conservatives are winning at a much, much higher clip across the country? #12) As moderate columnist David Brooks has said, There is not yet an effective Republican Leadership Council to nurture modernizing conservative ideas. There is no moderate Club for Growth, supporting centrist Republicans. The Public Interest, which used to publish an array of public policy ideas, has closed. Reformist Republican donors don't seem to exist. Any publication or think tank that headed in an explicitly reformist direction would be pummeled by its financial backers. National candidates who begin with reformist records -- Giuliani, Romney or McCain -- immediately tack right to be acceptable to the power base. So, there are no moderate think tanks, no moderate donors, the new media is overwhelmingly conservative, the Republican base and activists are overwhelmingly conservative -- shouldn't that tell people something about whether the idea of a moderate GOP is workable? #13) Follow-up question to #12: If a moderate Republican Party is workable, how do you make it work without the new media, think tanks, money, or an excited base on your side? #14) John McCain was the most moderate candidate the GOP has run since Richard Nixon. In fact, he's the standard bearer of the "moderate Republican" wing of the party and yet the media trashed him, he had trouble raising money -- and other moderates, including prominent moderate Republicans like Colin Powell and Christopher Buckley, voted for Obama. In the end, McCain received almost 4 million less votes than Bush did in 2006. Doesn't that suggest that moderate Republican candidates may have trouble raising money, retaining moderates, and generating the enthusiasm from the Republican base that will be needed to win? #15) When the Democratic Party was out of power, the party moved to the left, not to the center. They obstructed the GOP at every opportunity, put hard-core left-wingers in charge of everything, and ran an extremely liberal candidate in 2008. Granted, they also had moderate Democrats that they ran in states and districts that leaned red, but those people are almost completely locked out of power and their agenda is largely ignored. Since that strategy worked so well for the Democrats, doesn't it make more sense for the GOP to pursue the same strategy instead of continuing the move to the center that has done so much damage to the party over the last two elections?

Barack Obama Would Grant Citizenship To 12 Million Illegals
How would a Democrat president who has raised taxes, opened our borders, been soft on terrorism and is now presiding over an economy heading into depression, maintain power in the next election? Simple, he and his rubberstamp Democrat-controlled Congress, will grant amnesty and then citizenship to a voting bloc of 12 million illegal aliens.
Sound preposterous? Before you start saying that, consider the following:
A Barack Obama administration would be a “nation killer” if Democrats attain a “supermajority” in the Senate, a leading conservative figure on immigration warned Tuesday. Obama also has said he wants to make the 12 million illegal aliens in the U.S. citizens as soon as he can — an amnesty program that would make them legally entitled to full government benefits, including Social Security and health care. William Gheen, president of the Raleigh, N.C.-based Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC), says Obama’s plan would make it politically impossible to secure America’s borders. He describes Obama and a new Democratic Congress as a “worst-case scenario” for border and immigration security. “I would paint that scenario as a nation killer,” Gheen, a former campaign consultant and an outspoken advocate for stronger border control policies, tells Newsmax. “I would expect amnesty to pass within a year. That means in the next presidential election, you will have a new voting bloc of 15 million illegal aliens who turn into voters.
And the reason we can be so confident in that statement is:
| As a state senator in Illinois, for example, Obama co-sponsored that state’s version of the DREAM Act, which allowed youngsters in the country illegally to receive in-state tuition. He later supported similar legislation in the U.S. Senate. ... Obama, who tends to dismiss discussion of his pro-immigration positions as politically motivated “distractions,” has demonstrated no such reticence to expand entitlements for illegals. Specifically:
|
If these illegals are granted amnesty and then citizenship, it would turn the United States into the economic hell-hole that is today's Mexico.

Robert Menendez, Luis Gutierrez And Hilda Solis Had No Idea About Trouble At The U.S.-Mexico Border
Okay, say whatever you want about the trouble the Republican Party is in, but this goes beyond pathetic. Three Democrats admit that they did not know there was trouble brewing on the U.S. border with Mexico.
From Dr. Bobby Eberle at GOPUSA:
Three Democrat legislators spoke to reporters about what they claim is "anti-immigrant coverage" by conservative media outlets. Apparently, they think floods of illegal aliens crossing into America and the crime and violence at the border are just overblown incidents developed by conservatives to attack our neighbor to the South. After they spoke, the Democrats were asked if they realized that the State Department had issued a "travel alert warning Americans about military-like 'combat' along the southern U.S. border in Mexico, where Americans are being kidnapped and murdered." None of the legislators knew about it. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) said, "I haven't heard about the report specifically." Reps. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Hilda Solis (D-CA) also spoke to Cybercast News Service and said "they had no knowledge of the travel alert but were aware of the volatility along the U.S. southern border." Volatility? Americans are being killed and yet all these liberals want to do is pander! The State Department alert states that "violent criminal activity fueled by a war between criminal organizations struggling for control of the lucrative narcotics trade continues along the U.S.-Mexico border." Although the alert states that the attacks are primarily aimed at "members of drug trafficking organizations, Mexican police forces, criminal justice officials, and journalists," the alert goes on to state that "foreign visitors and residents, including Americans, have been among the victims of homicides and kidnappings in the border region."
And these three claim that they weren't aware of it.
Someone please remind me, which party is out of touch?

A Reality Check
The following facts and figures never get reported on the nightly news and are among the reasons why I do not trust Old Media and you shouldn't either.
This post is in three parts:
Part 1: Economy
In just one year. Remember the election in 2006? Consider the "change" a Dem controlled Congress has presided over.
A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% ( 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
America voted for change in 2006, and got it!
Remember, Congress makes the laws not the President. He works with what's handed to him.
Barack Obama's campaign slogan is: "Change we can believe in."
Well, we've seen the change that Barack and the Dems have in store for us. It is not good.
Part 2: Taxes
U.S. Federal Individual Income Tax Rates History, 1913-2008
Taxes under Clinton 1999
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
Taxes under Bush 2008
Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250
Both Democratic candidates will return to the higher tax rates
It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; scam people out of money and they don't even know it.
PART 3: Illegal Aliens vs. Funding The War on Terror
You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Continue reading.
We have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq War and the War on Terror that is bankrupting us. The data shows that to be RIDICULOUS.
Feel free to forward the following 14 reasons until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. URL's have been included for verification of all the following facts.
1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
Verify at: The Debate Over Immigration & Border Security Continues
10 The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
Verify at: The Debate Over Immigration & Border Security Continues
11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.
Verify at: Homeland Security Report: A Line in the Sand:
Confronting the Threat at the Southwest Border
12. The National Policy Institute, 'estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.'
Verify at: National Policy Institute
13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.

14. The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States.
Verify at: Violent Crimes Institute
The total cost is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. Yet the Dems and certain Congressional Republicans think the Iraq War is what is costing us!
Are we THAT stupid?
Pass this data along to as many people as you can for as long as you can. We need to get the job done that Old Media and the Democrats won't do.

Obama "Troubled" By Working Class
This comes from the Associated Press:
At issue are comments Obama made privately at a fundraising gathering in San Francisco last Sunday. He explained his troubles winning over working class voters, saying they have become frustrated with economic conditions: "It's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
I think we have seen one of the sides of the real Barack Obama here. He has no respect for hard-working Americans who believe in God and want the borders to their own nation secured. If Obama has this attitude towards people who care about their second amendment rights, the right to worship according to one's own conscious and about a flood of illegal immigrants coming in and costing the taxpayer billions upon billions in welfare handouts, then exactly who does he have a good attitude towards?

Illegal Alien Sues, Saying NYPD Called In Feds
One thing that the Muslims have learned from the left-wing libs here in the West is how to be a victim. Victimology 101; that is the big lesson libs teach everyone. There is no more requirement to stand on your own. Now you simply rely on the Government to provide you with everything that you are too lazy to get for yourself.
Well, that's one end result. Another end result is that it allows criminals and lawbreakers to claim victimhood when they engage in crimes and actively break the law. We have a story from the New York Sun to vividly illustrate this.
But this post is not just about the victimhood angle. It is also about the law, New York City's Executive Order 41 and the idiocy of the judge who allowed this case to move forward when it should have been quashed from the outset.
First, the case:
The case of the cab driver, Waheed Saleh of Jenin in the West Bank, indicates that a New York City police lieutenant casually tipped off a federal immigration officer about Mr. Saleh's immigration status, court documents in the case show. Mr. Saleh's civil trial against the lieutenant and another police officer is expected to begin tomorrow. It may be the first time that the city has been called to account in connection with Mr. Bloomberg's Executive Order 41. Issued in 2003, that order was intended to encourage illegal immigrants to seek out help from the police department and other agencies and allay fears that the city would turn their names over to federal immigration officials.
It turns out that Saleh illegally over-stayed his Visa, the same way the 19 9/11 hijackers did. Apparently, Mayor Bloomberg has forgotten the devestation those 19 caused his own city back in 2001. Executive Order 41 essentially makes New York City a "sanctuary city" in which illegal aliens can come in and get all sorts of hand-outs and goodies for free, at tax-payer expense.
But what kind of person is Mr. Saleh?
Court records show that police officers considered Mr. Saleh to be a troublemaker who could turn violent when confronted by the minor annoyances of big-city life, such as a dispute over a parking spot or the high price of cigarettes. In one instance, officers responded to a 911 call from a bodega employee who claimed Mr. Saleh threw a pack of cigarettes at him after a dispute over its price, according to court documents. In another instance, police officers broke up a fistfight between Mr. Saleh and another man over a parking spot, according to depositions. Police believed that Mr. Saleh, earlier in the fight, had tried to use his vehicle to ram a person standing in the street, the documents say.
So, what is wrong with having this guy deported? Nothing really. The law was very clear on that subject:
The city's policy for not sharing information with the federal government about illegal immigrants contains an exception for immigrants suspected of crimes. Given Mr. Saleh's trouble with the law, he appears to fall under that exception. Police policy in effect at the time, but no longer, required communications between the NYPD and federal immigration officials to begin with a written report that went through the NYPD's Intelligence Division. A police Internal Affairs Bureau report concluded that Captain Nicholson did violate the procedures on alerting the federal immigration officials in Mr. Saleh's case. But the report, which was filed in federal court, found that Mr. Saleh's claim that Captain Nicholson was acting in response to the complaints against Officer Hickman was unsubstantiated.
Right there, this whole thing should have been dropped and Mr. Saleh sent back to the West Bank for good. But here is what happened:
"It may be sound practice for NYPD officers to alert ICE when they encounter unlawful aliens under normal circumstances, but when they do so for retaliatory purposes, they run afoul of the Constitution," the judge handling the case, Sidney Stein of U.S. District Court in Manhattan, wrote in a ruling allowing the case to go forward last year. ICE stands for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Judge Stein is one of the leftist types who believes in spreading the idea of victimhood, even if it means jeopardizing the safety and security of an entire city.
Sanctuary cities should be completely cut-off from Federal funding and told to provide for illegal aliens out of their own pockets rather than forcing the rest of us honest tax-payers to cough-up the money that gets wasted on illegals each year. Further, the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLP should be investigated to see exactly where the money for representing Saleh is originating from.

Middle-Eastern Illegal Aliens Nabbed In Mississippi
I've lost count of how many times liberals became indignant at the suggestion that our open border with Mexico is a perfect pathway for terrorists to come into the U.S. and with the help of local Mexican authorities, a pathway for them to bring weapons and equipment in. Although the libs have nothing to back up their indignation with, we Conservatives can point to drug smugglers shooting at Border Patrol agents killing one recently, U.S. citizens beng attacked by armed illegals and trucks full of illegal drugs being driven into the U.S.
Well, we have a new story here about OTM (other than Mexican) illegals and we really should perk our ears up at it. From One News Now:
Operation Uniforce was conducted during a two-week period this month by a special Border Patrol task force targeting I-20 because federal agents believe it is a new corridor for smugglers to ferry illegal aliens to the East Coast. A similar operation was conducted on I-10 last year at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama. According to the Border Patrol, greater scrutiny of the I-10 corridor prompted smugglers to move further inland to I-20 -- which is 800 miles from the Mexican border. While most of the illegal immigrants nabbed came from Mexico, two individuals from "special interest" countries -- one Egyptian and the other a Palestinian from the West Bank -- were also apprehended. Rodney Hunt with the Mississippi Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement says people are concerned that terrorists are entering the U.S. across the porous border. "And I think this just shows [that] these people from these special interest countries ... [are not just] ... people coming here taking jobs from Americans, but we have potential ... terrorists," warns Hunt.
Those two were found with one group of illegals. How many more of their compatriots are roaming the United States unchecked because they were never found out?
I would love to be able to pose a question to both the Dem and GOP candidates about their positions on this one.

The Ire Over Illegal Immigration
We all know about it. We all know its happening. We all know what needs to be done. Yet, many politicians still don't get it. Maybe that's because those politicians don't have to deal with it up close and personal like the people of Orange County, California. No, this isn't like the reality TV series or the drama of O.C. This is the real Orange County.
From the San Jose Mercury News:
At Chapman Avenue and Hewes Street, dozens of day laborers - many of whom are illegal immigrants - have been swarming mothers driving SUVs as they pull in to buy groceries, fed-up locals complain. Women say they are nervous to drop off laundry at the dry cleaners next door and men heading into the Ace Hardware are reluctant to leave their tools in the back of their pickup trucks. ... The Field Poll of California voters last week showed McCain and Romney in a statistical dead heat. But more recent polls, taken before the Florida primary, show McCain taking a stronger lead. For Romney, Phyllis Beilharz might be an ideal voter. The day laborer issue in the Albertsons parking lot has her steaming mad. "It's a nuisance. It's uncomfortable. They stand close to your car. Sometimes you're scared," said Beilharz, 70. "I hope they send them all back. The ones who are citizens can stay, the ones who work hard." ... [Orange Mayor Carolyn Cavecche] put a police officer on patrol full time to go to where day laborers gather and hired more code enforcers for the illegal boarding houses that rent space to more than a dozen men at a time. After the past month of extra enforcement and new regulations, the Albertsons parking lot has mostly cleared out, but dozens still hang out at Friendly Donuts. "For me, it's like squeezing Jello. You know, what I did just put them in someone else's town," Cavecche said. "I'm going to take care of my city. It's what I was elected to do." Now, she said, if only a new president would do the same.
If only. Maybe if the President had to look at people like this on a daily basis:
He might have a different platform.
