At this point, there is no way ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) can claim that promoting tax-fraud, human trafficking and child prostitution is simply the work of a few rogue staffers. It has been uncovered in so many different places that it is clearly an established pattern of criminality.

There should be absolutely no doubt left in anyone's mind that we must have a full investigation into the activities of ACORN, the ACORN accounting books and any group or entity that had dealings with ACORN.

Letter From John Boehner To Barack Obama Asking To Break All Federal Ties To ACORN

The complete letter follows. I doubt Barack Obama will even acknowledge it. To acknowledge this letter is to admit to the scandal. He will simply stay in lock-step with ACORN even if it leads him off of a political cliff.

Yes, I think Obama is that narrow-minded.

The letter:

Dear Mr. President: We write to you today in the wake of new reports of potentially criminal activity involving associates of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) to respectfully request that you use your authority to publicly disclose and terminate all federal funding to ACORN and its affiliates. It is evident that ACORN is incapable of using federal funds in a manner that is consistent with the law. Immediate action is necessary to ensure that no additional tax dollars are directed to ACORN. Simply put, ACORN should not receive another penny of American taxpayers’ money. Congressional pressure, coupled with the impact of recent media reports, prompted the U.S. Census Bureau on September 11 to end its partnership with ACORN. We support this decision by the Census Bureau, and believe it is vital that all other federal agencies with ties to ACORN follow the Census Bureau’s example by severing all ties to ACORN and its affiliates, whether those ties consist of partnerships or the awarding of federal funds, including federal funds distributed through state and local governments from federal block grants. This is a matter of common sense and respect for taxpayer dollars. Last year, millions of Americans were outraged to learn their tax dollars were being used to subsidize an organization linked to multiple instances of voter registration fraud and other illicit activity. An analysis of federal data by the Office of the Republican Leader determined that ACORN has received more than $53 million in direct funding from the federal government since 1994, and has likely received substantially more indirectly through states and localities that receive federal block grants. The Census Bureau has made the commendable decision to sever ties with ACORN, and it is now critical that all remaining federal entities with ties to ACORN do the same. We ask that you use your authority to ensure that all federal funding of ACORN is publicly disclosed and terminated immediately. To facilitate this effort, the Republican staff of the Oversight Committee has compiled a complete list of the corporations that form the ACORN Council, and we would be pleased to share it with you and members of your administration. We thank you for your attention to this request.

Obama and the Democrats ignore this at their own politcal peril. ACORN is now a huge rock that hangs around their collective neck.

Whatever happened to Nancy Pelosi's promise to get rid of the Culture of Corruption in Washington? From what I saw in those videos, ACORN is certainly a good place to begin the cleaning process!

But defunding a vile and corrupt organization isn't enough. There needs to be a thorough investigation of ACORN and any other organization that worked with ACORN so that we can see exactly how far the corruption extends.

Reader Patrick M. e-mails: While listening to Don Wade and Roma this morning on WLS AM Chicago, they had Charlie Gibson on as their usual Tuesday morning guest. Don asked Charlie, why, after the senate last night voted to halt funding to ACORN and after three of those video tapes of ACORN employees helping the pimp and prostitute set up shop, there was no mention of it anywhere on the network news. Charlie gave out a most uncomfortable laugh and said that that was the first he heard of it! Don and Roma pointed out that ABC’s Jake Tapper reported on the Census Bureau’s decision to drop ACORN from its data collection partnerships on Friday as a result of BigGovernment.com’s video stings.

ACORN needs to be investigated from the top down even if it implicates people in the Obama administration.

WHERE THE HELL IS NBC, ABC, CBS AND CNN ON THIS? WHY DON'T THEY REPORT ON THIS HUGE NATIONAL SCANDAL?

First, the big news: the United States Census Bureau has severed all ties with the voter-fraud group ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) in the wake of revelations that ACORN was actively trying to help a "pimp" and "prostitute" import underage girls in order to start a brothel in Baltimore. The "pimp" and "prostitute" were actually undercover journalists James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles who secretly videotaped the encounters at ACORN offices in Baltimore and Washington D.C.

Apparently, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. ACORN has long been known to be engaged in many suspicious and shady deals and activities. Voter fraud has resulted in many arrests and convictions of ACORN personnel. An embezzlement scheme was uncovered right here in D.C. and now that ACORN has shown its willingness to engage in underage prostitution, the Census Bureau has cried, "Enough!" This is significant since as late as last year the Census Bureau had been defending ACORN.

From the Associated Press:

The Census Bureau on Friday severed its ties with ACORN, a community organization that has been hit with Republican accusations of voter-registration fraud. "We do not come to this decision lightly," Census director Robert Groves wrote in a letter to ACORN, which was obtained by The Associated Press. In splitting with ACORN, Groves sought to tamp down GOP concerns and negative publicity that the partnership will taint the 2010 head count. "It is clear that ACORN's affiliation with the 2010 census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 census efforts," Groves wrote. ... Up to now, the Census Bureau had defended ACORN's involvement, explaining it was one of 80,000 unpaid volunteer groups that the bureau hoped would be able to raise local awareness. But in his letter, Groves said it no longer had confidence that ACORN was effectively managing its partnership.

So, how does this relate to Glenn Beck? Easy. Glenn was the only television jounalist to cover the Van Jones scandal and to give coverage to the ACORN underage prostitution scandal. Jones eventually resigned his post as the "green jobs" czar and now the Census Bureau has been forced to cut ties with ACORN.

There was absolutely no coverage of these events on ABC, NBC, or CBS. CNN gave the ACORN scandal token coverage but tried to spin it as right-wing whackos attempting a hit job.

What this means is that Glenn Beck by himself has proven to be a more effective voice than all of the other news networks combined.

If I were one of the big three networks or CNN, I'd be embarassed.

A Second Set Of Videos Exposing ACORN!

Well, well, well. James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles are nothing short of brilliant! First, they release the videos of the ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) office in Baltimore conspiring to aid and abet a child prostitution ring. Second, they let ACORN release a statement that it was an "isolated" incident and only happened at one office.

Then, unbeknownst to ACORN, when James and Hannah left Baltimore, they drove down to the Washington D.C. ACORN offices and got the following videos:





It turns out that ACORN lied. It isn't just one isolated office, it is a pattern.

ACORN needs to be investigated from top to bottom and should be immediately cut off from any more Federal funds, direct or indirect.

Barack Obama once touted ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) as the organization that he was going to "tap" after his inauguration to help him shape his administration's policy. After watching the following videos showing ACORN employees advising a "pimp" and a "prostitute" on how to bring underage girls in from Central America so they can work in the sex trade, he might want to think twice about it.






They knew the ages of the girls but said to stop talking about it? List them as dependents? Hide the fact that they will be in the United States illegally?

We've known since the 2004 election that ACRON is rife with fraud and that the Democrats are in bed with them (no pun intended). They engage in voter fraud and Obama invites them to shape national policy. They engage in embezzlement schemes and Obama invites them to help with the national census next year. Now that ACORN is shown to be engaged in child prostitution rings, what will Obama offer them next? Control of America's public schools?

There is absolutely no way anyone can defend the actions of ACORN here. ACORN's national headquarters is claiming a smear campaign, but this was the work of two very brave, very resourceful undercover journalists. The ACORN employees believed that they were talking to a pimp and prostitute who were looking to set up a brothel in Baltimore. There was no smear campaign and the funding for this little sting was provided entirely by the two journalists who went undercover to expose the truth.

But here is what is really shameful. As of this writing, a Google.com search of news items for this story only yields four results: Fox News, the Examiner, Rush Limbaugh and WBAL radio.

Where the hell is the New York Times? Where the hell is the Washington Post? Where the hell is CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS? Is a story about ACORN aiding and abetting in child prositution just not worth their time? Or is it that Barack Obama has ties to ACORN and these so-called news outlets are trying to quell the story in order to protect him? Maybe the story about Joe Wilson seems more important than the fact that ACORN is trying to help import underage sex workers?

And why is the Federal Government giving these perverts our hard-earned tax dollars?

Google.com should have had thousands of search results with this story! There were more search results when an army of journalists descended on Wasilla, Alaska trying to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin!

This is why we have an Internet and a blogosphere, folks. So that when the idiot libs of Old Media try to quash a story like this, bloggers like me and others will work to get the information out to you.

Obama's SEIU Thugs Attack A Black Conservative

Okay, this should show exactly how the Dems in Congress are nothing but thieving liars. For the past week, Dems like Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have been lying to the press about angry mobs, violent protesters and swastikas.

The truth is, what we have been seeing is a grassroots movement in which people were rightfully asking their Congressional delegations if they've read what's in HR3200 (the socialized medicine bill), whether the government that let Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security go broke can run a socialized medicine system, and whether or not Congress will limit its own health care plan choices to only that which is provided to Joe and Jane Average American under this bill.

For their efforts at trying to communicate their concerns to Congress, the Democrats have labeled the American people "radical" and leveled false charges against them.

Well, the violent angry mobs didn't start until the Dems unleashed the SEIU thugs against Joe and Jane Average American. In a page right out of the Nazi Brown-Shirt playbook, Dems from the White House and Congress called on their union thugs to go after the peaceful opponents of Obamacare.

Congressional Report Exposes Fraud And Corrpution With ACORN

Most of us have known that the voter-fraud organization known as ACORN is among the most corrupt entities being given access to Capitol Hill by the Democrats. Now, a new report coming out of Congress shows that the corruption runs deeper than we first thought.

From Fox News:

[T]he report offers the first detailed account of the allegations that have dogged the organization in recent months. The executive summary of the report says ACORN provided contributions of financial and personnel resources to indicted former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown and candidate Obama, among others, in what the report calls a scheme to use taxpayer money to support a partisan political agenda, which would be a clear violation of numerous tax and election laws. "Both structurally and operationally, ACORN hides behind a paper wall of nonprofit corporate protections to conceal a criminal conspiracy on the part of its directors, to launder federal money in order to pursue a partisan agenda and to manipulate the American electorate," an executive summary of the report reads.

Of course, ACORN is denying all charges. But they cannot deny the facts in the case:

The report accuses ACORN, after receiving more than $53 million in federal funds since 1994, of blurring the legal distinctions among 361 tax-exempt and non-exempt entities to divert that money into partisan political activities. Evidence found in the report relies in part on documents provided by former ACORN employees. "Operationally, ACORN is a shell game played in 120 cities, 43 states and the District of Columbia through a complex structure designed to conceal illegal activities, to use taxpayer and tax-exempt dollars for partisan political purposes, and to distract investigators," the report read. "Structurally, ACORN is a chess game in which senior management is shielded from accountability by multiple layers of volunteers and compensated employees who serve as pawns to take the fall for every bad act."

These are very serious findings that we Americans should take note of and demand accountability from our elected representatives.

Here's why:

It would be up to the chairman of the oversight panel to hold hearings on the ACORN report and up to the Justice Department to pursue a criminal investigation. Likewise, the census director will determine whether ACORN remains a partner with the U.S. Census Bureau to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States.

Do we want an organization that actively engages in voter fraud and other corrupt activities to be involved in something so important as a Constitutionally mandated census?

No. We do not. ACORN should be dissolved and their leaders arrested and frog-marched to prison.

Sotomayor Defends 'Wise Latina' Remark; Wants To Be Held To A Different Standard

Can you imagine if a white, Republican male said, "I can make better decisions than a Latina woman without similar experiences" what the reaction from Old Media and the leftist Democrats would be? Such a man would be run out of town and his political or legal career would be over. Period.

But, when a Latina woman makes the reverse statment, Old Media and the leftist Dems fall in love with her.

Whatever happened to Obama's promise of a "post-racial" America? He broke it when he nominated Sotmayor to the Supreme Court. Of course, the Dems in the Senate will validate the broken promise by rubber-stamping Obama's nomination, but the rest of America has taken note of this.

Here is Sotmayor's attempt at garnering sympathy for her own miscue:

"I want to state upfront, unequivocally and without doubt: I do not believe that any racial, ethnic or gender group has an advantage in sound judging. I do believe that every person has an equal opportunity to be a good and wise judge, regardless of their background or life experiences," Sotomayor declared.

Except when refering to herself as a "wise Latina." Then she seems to be all about racial identity.

It even showed in her decision against the white firefighters of New Haven, Connecticut. She and two other judges ruled that it was okay to toss out promotion exam results because not enough "non-white" firefighters scored high enough to get promotions. That was clearly a racial decision and thankfully, the Supreme Court overturned her.

Even though the Dems are going to force the confirmation, the Republicans are going to make sure that the public knows as much about her as possible, especially those things that Old Media and the Dems don't want you to know.

[T]he GOP made clear, despite the Democrats' Senate majority that makes her confirmation likely, it would not let Sotomayor's hearings pass without raising questions about her impartiality. By extension, Republicans also are attacking Obama for what they see as a double standard in calling for her quick confirmation after he voted against President George W. Bush's two high-court appointees. The thrust of the Republican case against Sotomayor stems from a variation of a line she used on several occasions between 1994 and 2003 in which she talked about personal experience and judging. "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life," Sotomayor said in a speech at 2001 at the University of California, Berkeley, law school.

The Dems are going to hold her to a lower standard but the Republicans will try to hold her to the same standard that the Dems would hold for a white male.

Letter To America's "Leadership"

This is long, but read it all the way through. It was written by Janet Contreras of Arizona.

I put the word "Leadership" in quatation marks in the title because I do not really consider those idiots in Washington to be leaders.

The words are truer than most people even know:

I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me? Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation: One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration. Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal. Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it. Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say. Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down! Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there. Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate. Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit? Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves. Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us. Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me. Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave. I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending. From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons. We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. New York Times Kills Story Detailing Obama/ACORN Relationship And Violation Of Campaign Finance Laws

Now, you know that if this had happened to a Conservative Republican, the NYT would have run it as front page news for two weeks. But because Obama is a leftist socialist, the NYT spiked it.

Back in 2008, the Obama campaign conspired with the voter-fraud group ACORN to violate campaign finance laws. When the NYT learned of the story, they immediately buried it.

Powerline Blog has a very comprehensive report:

Times reporter Stephanie Strom was looking into ACORN, and she had a source, a former ACORN employee named Anita Moncrief. Moncrief told Strom that she had evidence of "constant contact" between ACORN's Project Vote and both the Obama and Clinton campaigns: On Sept. 7, Moncrief wrote to Strom that she had donor lists from the campaigns of Obama and Hillary Clinton and that there had been "constant contact" between the campaigns and Project Vote, an Acorn affiliate whose tax-exempt status forbids it to engage in partisan politics. Moncrief said she had withheld that information earlier but was disclosing it now that the conservative columnist Michelle Malkin was "all over it." "I am sorry," she wrote, "but I believe in Obama and did not want to help the Republicans." A key part of Moncrief's story was that the Obama campaign had furnished ACORN with lists of maxed-out donors so that ACORN could mine them for contributions. In fact, Moncrief provided the Times reporter, Strom, with such a list that ACORN allegedly obtained from the Obama campaign. Hoyt does not dispute that this story, if true, was evidence of violation of the campaign finance laws.

Now, you would think that a news outlet that claims to be the "watchdog of government" would have been all over this story and reporting it to the people. Not the NYT. They immediately began to cover it up in an effort to help Barack Obama get away with breaking the law during his run for the presidency.

New York Times Public Editor Clark Hoyt had been "investigating" the whole situation, but what he was looking at seemed to be completely different from what everyone else was seeing.

The story became public because a Republican lawyer named Heather Heidelbaugh testified, apparently based on information she got from Anita Moncrief, that the Times had been working on an Obama-ACORN story but that "Ms. Strom reported to Ms. Moncrief that her editors at The New York Times wanted her to kill the story because, and I quote, 'it was a game-changer.'" Hoyt undertakes to show that this charge was false. He admits, though, that Strom's editor, Suzanne Daley, "called a halt to Strom's pursuit of the Obama angle." So the Times did kill the investigation and any further reporting. The only question is why. Hoyt uncritically accepts Daley's explanation: "We had worked on that story for a while and had come up empty-handed," Daley said. "You have to cut bait after a while." She said she never thought of the story as a game-changer and never used that term with Strom. But wait! Hoyt also relates that shortly before Daley pulled the plug, "Moncrief finally agreed to go on the record" and Strom had scheduled a meeting with her. It was when she called Moncrief to cancel the meeting that Strom allegedly told her that her bosses had killed the investigation to protect Obama. Obviously, if Strom was about to hit pay-dirt with an on-the-record witness, Daley's assertion that she killed the story because Strom "had come up empty-handed" is false.

As I've said before. Only the most naive and gullible would believe that leftist news outlets like the NYT are fair and objective.

Pro-Amnesty Groups To Help Obama In The Census: No Illegal Alien Left Behind

ACORN, the voter-fraud organization that worked so hard to register voters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Clark Kent, along with pro-amnesty groups like Voto Latino and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) will be helping Barack Obama make sure that illegals are counted as population in the upcoming census thereby helping to ensure that the Dems will maintain a majority and will be able to force their disastrous socialist agenda on the rest of us.

No, this is not the plot of some futuristic movie from the 1970's. It is cold, hard reality today. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke set this wheel in motion when he told the "government's partners" (i.e. ACORN, Voto Latino and SEIU) that the "privacy rights" of census takers would not be violated. What that means is that the people doing the census will not ask whether or not a family being counted is actually a legitimate family or an illegal family.

That will have long-range consequences on the politcal map here in the United States.

Writing for Town Hall, Michelle Malkin has the following:

Obama's census partners are using the process to pressure homeland security agents to halt interior enforcement efforts and workplace raids so that illegal alien cooperation with the national survey is maximized. Inclusion of the massive illegal alien population has resulted in a radical redrawing of the electoral map. The census is used to divvy up seats in the House as a proportion of their population based on the headcount. More people equals more seats. More illegal immigrants counted equals more power. This is not hypothetical. The Center for Immigration Studies determined that in the 2000 election cycle, the presence of non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, temporary visitors and green-card holders, caused nine seats in the House to switch hands. As the think tank's analysis reported: California added six seats it would not have had otherwise. Texas, New York and Florida each gained a seat. Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin each lost a seat. Montana, Kentucky and Utah each failed to secure a seat they would otherwise have gained.

Given ACORN's track record at fraudulently registering voters over the past eight years, it is very likely that ACORN may use those same fraud techniques to influence the census count and make sure that Congress and the federal government remains in the hands of the socialists.

And Obama himself is already making sure that illegals are free to remain in the United States for the census:

The Obama Department of Homeland Security is already continuing the tradition -- reversing the work of investigative agents who have uncovered massive document fraud at illegal alien worksites, and cutting immigration and customs enforcement operations at the knees. During the eight years of the Bush administration, groups such as ACORN received millions of dollars in subsidies. The pro-amnesty faction of the GOP pandered to unions such as the SEIU and ethnic lobbying groups such as Voto Latino seeking to boost their membership rolls. Now Republicans can only stand by helplessly while the political opponents they helped fund use the census to wipe them off the electoral map. You reap what you sow.

I wonder if those pro-amnesty Republicans are going to recant all those speeches they made when they tried to shove amnesty down our throats back in 2007.

Do you, as an American, want the future of our nation determined by a bunch of aliens who entered and stayed in the county illegally? I don't.

Obama's Lies About Deficits

Okay, how many of you were doubled over with laughter after President Obama made the following remark yesterday:

"We're not going to be able to fall back into the same old habits," Mr. Obama said. "The casual dishonesty of hiding irresponsible spending with clever accounting tricks, the costly overruns, the fraud and abuse, the endless excuses."

This, coming from a President who forced a piece of legislation, crafted behind closed doors and without the input of the opposition party, through Congress and even broke his own promise of openess, transparency and a five-day window for the public to review legislation before he signs it into law.

And how about that "fraud and abuse" part. Did he not see the earmarks going to ACORN, the notorius voter fraud organization? Did he not notice other pork and wasteful spending in his porkulus package? And now, he expects us to believe that he is fiscally responsible? His next spending plan has over 9,000 earmarks in it!

How dumb does Barack Obama think were are? Only the most brain-washed partisan Democrats would believe Obama's remarks.

Here's some more idoicy from a man who graduated from an Ivy League school:

"If we confront this crisis without also confronting the deficits that helped cause it, we risk sinking into another crisis down the road," the president warned, promising to cut the yearly deficit in half by the end of his four-year term. "We cannot simply spend as we please and defer the consequences."

And yet, he had no problem signing into law a package that will have to be paid off by our children and grandchildren. Again, how stupid does he think we are?

"We are paying the price for these deficits right now," Obama said, estimating the country spends $250 billion — one in every ten dollars of taxpayer money — in interest on the national debt. "I refuse to leave our children with a debt that they cannot repay."

But that is precisely what the President is doing. He is simply trying to lay the blame at someone else's feet. I don't buy it. After that porkulus/spendulus bill passed, the Dems now own this economy. They have no one to blame but themsleves and they know it. That is why Obama and the Dems are scrambling to pass the buck so that their popularity doesn't take too much of a hit.

They say that actions speak louder than words. Right now, Obama's words are being drowned out by his actions and the actions of his socialist allies in Congress. He is lying to us and the Dems are hoping that you and I will buy it hook, line and sinker.

I'm not that blind. I see what is really happening and no amount of spin or lies from the Oval Office and the Democrat controlled Congress will ever change the truth.

Bailed Out Bank Of America Hands $2 Million To Voter-Fraud Organization

Let's see: Corporate conferences, remodeling rest rooms, paying out bonuses to employees. Any of that done by a bank that received bail-out funds causes the Dems to scream bloody murder.

But, if a bank that received bail-out funds donates to an organization that actively engages in voter-fruad, well, the Dems are okay with that.

Bank of America, one of the many banks to benefiting from a government bailout, is giving more than $2.1 million directly to the controversial interest group ACORN that engaged in fraudulent voter registration activities in the 2008 election. The January 29 Chronicle of Philanthropy [subscription only] reported Bank of America's Charitable Foundation is giving the interest group $2,155,000 "for efforts to prevent foreclosures and educate people about finances and purchasing homes." The gift is being made in four separate allocations, most of them going to Chicago--the city President Obama hails from. ACORN endorsed Obama in the 2008 presidential election and actively worked to elect him by conducting various get-out-the-vote activities. In the process of those activities ACORN submitted hundreds of fraudulent voter registration forms to local election offices. Two of the grants, one for $2 million and another for $85,000 are being made to a Chicago ACORN corporation. Another, for $20,000, is being given to a Las Vegas chapter. And, $50,000 is being gifted to ACORN in Miami.

Notice that the lion's share went ot the Chicago-based chapter? Looks like Obama may be paying off his political allies using taxpayer dollars.

Well, it didn't take long for Obama to break that promise. Or maybe he forgot to tell the Dems who control Congress that pork was banned. Here is a listing of what this pork-laden, useless spending bill contains:

- $1 billion for Amtrak, which hasn’t earned a profit in four decades.

- $2 billion to help subsidize child care.

- $400 million for research into the junk science of global warming.

- $2.4 billion for projects to demonstrate how carbon greenhouse gas can be safely removed from the atmosphere, another junk science project.

- $650 million for coupons to help consumers convert their TV sets from analog to digital, part of the digital TV conversion.

- $600 million to buy a new fleet of cars for federal employees and government departments.

- $75 million to fund programs to help people quit smoking.

- $21 million to re-sod the National Mall, which suffered heavy use during the Inauguration.

- $2.25 billion for national parks. This item has sparked calls for an investigation, because the chief lobbyist of the National Parks Association is the son of Rep. David R. Obey, D-Wisc. The $2,25 billion is about equal to the National Park Service’s entire annual budget. The Washington Times reports it is a threefold increase over what was originally proposed for parks in the stimulus bill. Obey is chairman of the House Appropriations Committee.

- $335 million for treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.

- $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts.

- $44 million to renovate the headquarters building of the Agriculture Department.

- $32 billion for a “smart electricity grid to minimize waste.

- $87 billion of Medicaid funds, to aid states. This earmark amounts to the first installment of a Socialized Health Care system just like the disasters that have a hold of Canada and Great Britain.

- $53.4 billion for science facilities, high speed Internet, and miscellaneous energy and environmental programs.

- $13 billion to repair and weatherize public housing, help the homeless, repair foreclosed homes.

- $20 billion for quicker depreciation and write-offs for equipment.

- $10.3 billion for tax credits to help families defray the cost of college tuition.

- $20 billion over five years for an expanded food stamp program.

Not to mention the potential $5 billion for ACORN to commit more voter-fraud.

The ACORN Slush Fund: An Example Of Dems Paying Back The Street Thugs

The current spending bill (mis-named as a "stimulus" package) went through the House of Representatives along party lines. Not one single Republican voted for it. Not one. But, eleven Democrats voted agaqinst it it.

It's a good thing that the Republicans acted in unison on this. That means that the Dems will completely own this bill and whatever results from its passage.

One of those results is handing billions of taxpayer's dollars to the voter fraud organization known as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now or ACORN.

We already know how ACORN routinely engages in voter fraud schemes in order to get leftist candidates (Democrats) elected.

But, they have other activities to keep themselves occupied with as well.

Writing for Town Hall, Michelle Malkin has the following:

ACORN, you may recall, is the left-wing activist group with longtime ties to community organizer-turned-President Barack Obama. The nonprofit, which now takes in 40 percent of its revenues from American taxpayers after four decades on the public teat, has a history of engaging in voter fraud, corporate shakedowns, partisan bullying and pro-illegal immigration lobbying. The Democrats' stimulus proposals could make the group -- and its lesser known but even more radical ideological allies -- eligible for upward of $5 billion in new public cash. Talk about subsidizing failure. These are the same activists that helped sow the seeds of the subprime meltdown. They aggressively played the race card and pressured banks to loosen standards, throw out down payments and lend to some of the nation's riskiest borrowers. Now, these mobs protest across the country, disrupt foreclosure auctions, threaten bank executives and accuse lenders of, yep, racism for lending to those riskiest of borrowers.

Talk about Orwellian logic. First, ACORN helps to apply pressure to banks to make bad loans and then accuses the bank of racism for making such loans. This is what the Dems in Congress want to subsidize with billions of your dollars?

Under the stimulus bill, as nonprofit watchdog Matthew Vadum points out, the middlemen would be eliminated -- "making it easier to get Uncle Sam's largess directly into the hands of the same people who run ACORN's various vote fraud and extortion rackets." Moreover, Vadum reports, "the legislative package provides these funds without the usual prohibition on using government money for lobbying or political activities."

So, the Dems don't want ACORN to be under the same lobbying rules as everyone else. Didn't Barack Obama campaign on restricting lobbyist access to the legislative process? Why is he breaking that promise with ACORN?

Next in line for the stimulus windfall is the Massachusetts-based Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). Founder Bruce Marks proudly calls himself a "bank terrorist." As I reported last spring, Marks threatened to march into the neighborhoods of bank executives and bully their children. He's done it for years, all under the guise of "social justice" and "neighborhood stabilization." Marks' agenda is blatantly political and personally lucrative. NACA -- with dozens of offices across the country -- has a no down payment, no closing costs, low interest rate policy for low-income minority borrowers and takes a hefty fee for each transaction. NACA loan applicants are then required to attend workshops that indoctrinate them in the group's protest thuggery.

Nazi Brown Shirts. That's all these people are. They do not deserve to stick their snouts in the public trough, especially when so many Americans are lacking basic necessities. The Dems seem to be okay with denying those necessities while handing monetary payouts to political allies.

This pork spending bill needs to be stopped. The Republicans in the House were right to all vote "Nay."

More Voter Fraud From ACORN

How many times does this have to happen before the Democrats in Congress finally wake up and smell the voter fraud? Millions of taxpayer dollars go to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) only to have ACORN workers register names like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other fictional names, usually with party registrations of Democrat.

But, since most of this attempted fraud is aimed at getting Democrats elected, the Dems in Congress are in no rush to deal with the problem.

The latest slime dropping from the ACORN vine is Deidra Humphrey who was indicted on December 31, 2008 for submitting false and forged voter registration cards. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

Deidra Humphrey, 44, of East St. Louis, is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in St. Louis this week after a federal grand jury indicted her on the charges Dec. 31, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Humphrey is accused of submitting forged and false voter registration cards for the November general election, including forging cards for nursing home residents, U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said Monday. Humphrey worked for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and the Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition, not-for-profit organizations that conducted voter registration drives.

ACORN can try to spin this all they want and even side-step some of the issues. But this kind of fraud keeps coming up again and again and again in the ACORN circles.

It's time to defund ACORN and get back to a real democratic process.

Democrats Inch Ever Closer To Stealing Senatorial Election In Minnesota

After all of the legal votes were cast and counted, Norm Coleman was the victor of the Senatorial Election in Minnesota. Thus, the Democrats did what they did with Governor Gregoire in Washington State: they kept pursuing legal channels until enough votes were "found" to ensure the Democrat was the winner. Many of the votes that were "found" in Washington State were extremely questionable at best, but the State's election board and the courts, both of which are highly controlled by the Democrats, sided with the Democrat candidate and thus, Gregoire was selected (not elected) to be Washington State's Governor back in 2004.

The same thing is happening up in Minnesota right now. Even though Norm Coleman won the popular vote according to election boards who were entrusted with counting the votes and not counting the questionable votes, the Democrats are trying to get a foul-mouthed clown in Al Franken selected as the next Senator from Minnesota.

It is a slap in the face to Americans everywhere that the Democrats work so hard to usurp the electorial system in order to ensure their own power. Here is a brief history of how this election and recount (conducted by Democrats) has been playing out:

Here is the latest from Amanda Carpenter at Town Hall:

Franken is currently leading by a little more than 100 votes. This is the first time Franken has pulled ahead of Coleman in recount, which has been taking place for over a month. Minnesota’s powerful Canvassing Board is expected to finish counting all the disputed ballots by the Friday night. The board’s review of the disputed ballots, however, is not the last step in the recount. There are nearly 300 ballots left to examine. The Minnesota Supreme Court gave the board another assignment on Thursday by ruling that roughly 1,600 more ballots improperly rejected needed to be examined by the end of the month.

As you can see, the Canvassing Board (controlled by Democrats) and the courts (controlled by Democrats) are following the same exact strategy that their counterparts in Washington State used. Make rulings that favor the Democrat candidate until enough votes are "found" to have the Democrat declared the winner. Or, as Communist Josef Stalin once said: "It does not matter who casts the votes, it only matters who counts them."

You also have to wonder: How many of these questionable votes that the Democrats "found" to be in favor of Al Franken were cast by people registered by ACORN?

Wake up, America. This may be our electorial future if we allow the Dems to continue stealing elections like they did in Washington State and are actively trying to do in Minnesota right now.
