Got this in an email. One thing about this CSM (Command Sergeant Major), he does not waste time getting to the point! This essay has been around for a long while, but the points made are still extremely valid.

(I checked this out on snopes.com but didn't find anything to indicate that this wasn't written by J.D. Pendry, US Army, Retired.)

"The Axis of Idiots" Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the runner-in-chief. Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the USS Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing and our embassy bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001. John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You've accused our military of terrorizing women and children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam , is another war that you were for, before you were against it. John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq . You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's butt. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John. Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run. Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Ghraib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated another beheading for you. If you truly supported our troops, you'd show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a Communist victory there. You're a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run away again, and all they have to Do is hang on a little longer. It is inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic Jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on ours after they have gained both strength and momentum. American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer. You are all America 's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your collective stupidity will destroy us. self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies. View From The British Media: Why Does Obama Hate America?

I've got to give the Brits credit for one thing. Their mass media isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Whereas here in America our mass media is acting like Obama's cheerleading squad, the Brits are not afraid to bring hard facts to the forefront and ask questions that would surely embarrass Obama.

Gerald Warner is one such journalist and penned the following column for the Telegraph back on April 24:

If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter. Obama's problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail. That is why he opened Pandora's Box by publishing the Justice Department's legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley, Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda. "Don't be discouraged by what's happened the last few weeks," he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed. So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers. Obama promised his CIA audience that nobody would be prosecuted for past actions. That has already been contradicted by leftist groups with a revanchist ambition to put Republicans, headed if possible by Condoleezza Rice, in the dock. Talk about playing party politics with national security. Martin Scheinin, the United Nations special investigator for human rights, claims that senior figures, including former vice president Dick Cheney, could face prosecution overseas. Ponder that - once you have got over the difficulty of locating the United Nations and human rights within the same dimension. President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with Dick Cheney. The former vice president believes documents have been selectively published and that releasing more will prove how effective the interrogation techniques were. Under Dubya's administration, there was no further atrocity on American soil after 9/11. President Pantywaist's recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America's enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners. His only enemies are fellow Americans. Which prompts the question: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?

If only American reporters had such courage and fortitude to stand up to the socialist Obama like that. But, they will never ask hard, reality-based questions of The One.

Obama's Tax Increases: Heralding The Beginning Of The Second Great Depression

Are you ready for double-digit unemployment and double-digit inflation rates? We haven't seen that since Jimmy Carter. But, they are on their way here again.

Barack Obama's tax-and-spend liberal policies are the same exact policies that Jimmy Carter tried and the same exact policies that took us into the recession of late 70's/early 80's. We got out of that recession by cutting taxes and letting the American economy grow.

Only this time, Obama's policies are Carter's policies on steroids. The results are going to be even more catastrophic than Carter's, and those of us who remember 1979 know exactly how catastrophic they were. It was the first time since the Great Depression that we has a misiery index over 20. (Misery index = inflation rate plus unemployment rate.)

Here is what Barack Obama wants to do to our economy according to Jake Tapper of ABC News:

President Obama's budget proposes $989 billion in new taxes over the course of the next 10 years, starting fiscal year 2011, most of which are tax increases on individuals. 1) On people making more than $250,000. $338 billion - Bush tax cuts expire $179 billlion - eliminate itemized deduction $118 billion - capital gains tax hike Total: $636 billion/10 years 2) Businesses: $17 billion - Reinstate Superfund taxes $24 billion - tax carried-interest as income $5 billion - codify "economic substance doctrine" $61 billion - repeal LIFO $210 billion - international enforcement, reform deferral, other tax reform $4 billion - information reporting for rental payments $5.3 billion - excise tax on Gulf of Mexico oil and gas $3.4 billion - repeal expensing of tangible drilling costs $62 million - repeal deduction for tertiary injectants $49 million - repeal passive loss exception for working interests in oil and natural gas properties $13 billion - repeal manufacturing tax deduction for oil and natural gas companies $1 billion - increase to 7 years geological and geophysical amortization period for independent producers $882 million - eliminate advanced earned income tax credit Total: $353 billion/10 years

Several things to notice here:

1. Look at all the new taxes on oil and gas companies. How high do you think the price for a gallon of gas will go? How badly do you think that will affect low and middle income families? It is not only the gas that will go up in price but anything that has to be transported will go up in price as well. That includes food, clothing and any other consumer commodity that must be transported by ship, truck or rail.

2. The total revenue on these new taxes is $989 billion. That doesn't even cover the porkulus/spendulus bill (1.3 trillion total in spending and interest) and represents only about half of Obama's proposed $1.75 trillion deficit! Who among you really believes that the Dems are going to stop their tax-and-spend orgy at people making more than $250,000 per year? How long before the proposed new taxes extend downwards towards people making $100,000 per year, or $75,000 per year or $50,000 per year? I'm betting months.

I have historical fact on my side for that last assertion. In 1992, Bill Clinton promised that his new taxes would not affect anyone making less than $90,000 per year. After they added up all the numbers, a new tax law was passed through Congress which levied new taxes on people making as little as $36,000 per year. So much for unkeepable promises.

These new taxes will mark the beginning of the Second Great Depression, just as Smoot-Hawley heralded the onset of the First Great Depression.

When all is said and done, the Democrats will only have themselves to blame for the coming financial disaster, but you can be certain they will be trying to pass the blame off on someone else.

The Obama Presidency: Here Comes Socialism

Well, we voted for change. The question is, will the change be good or bad?

I'm betting bad. Just as Jimmy Carter had a liberal Democrat Congress to tinker with the economy, so does Barack Obama, only moreso. But, the Dems today are much further to the left than the Dems of the 70's. Back in the 70's, the Dems actually cared about the well-being of America while today's Dems care more for forcing their socialist agenda on a population that will regret it.

Just look at Europe. Depsite their touting themselves as being "enlightened" and better than the rest of the world (i.e. the United States) their collective economy is in a permanent state of shambles and their societies are deteriorating at the hands of leftists in conjunction with immigrants who refuse to assimilate. High unemployement, high taxes and low quality services. That is what they offer.

Socialism is and always will be a disaster.

And now, we have voted for just that type of disaster to happen here.

Writing for Town Hall, Dick Morris and Eileen McGann have this to say about Barack Obama's policies:

[W]e enter his administration as free enterprise, market-dominated, laissez-faire America. We will shortly become like Germany, France, the United Kingdom or Sweden -- a socialist democracy in which the government dominates the economy, determines private sector priorities and offers a vastly expanded range of services to many more people at much higher taxes.

This will all be part and parcel to Obama's New Deal which will be every bit as disastrous as FDR's, whose policies made the Great Depression last at least ten years longer than it should have. Here is a recap of how well it went:

[H]is New Deal measures only succeeded in lowering the unemployment rate from 23 percent in 1933 when he took office to 13 percent in the summer of 1937. It never went lower. And his policies of over-regulation generated such business uncertainty that they triggered a second-term recession. Unemployment rose to 17 percent in 1938 and, in 1940, on the verge of the war-driven recovery, stood at 15 percent.

First, Obama will ensure that he can buy votes for the next election as follows:

In the name of short-term stimulus, he will give every American family (who makes less than $200,000) a welfare check of $1,000 euphemistically called a refundable tax credit. And he will so sharply cut taxes on the middle class and the poor that the number of Americans who pay no federal income tax will rise from the current one-third of all households to more than half. In the process, he will create a permanent electoral majority that does not pay taxes, but counts on ever expanding welfare checks from the government.

That wonderful Florida voter named Peggy the Moocher must certainly be licking her chops right now at the premise that she can be as lazy as she wants to be while other hard-working Americans support her.

Here are some other aspects of Obama's New Deal:

With a congressional mandate to run the deficit up as high as need be, there is no reason to raise taxes now and risk aggravating the depression. Instead, Obama will follow the opposite of the Reagan strategy. ... Obama will raise spending and increase the deficit so that conservatives cannot cut taxes. And when the economy is restored, he will raise taxes with impunity since the only people who would have to pay them would be rich Republicans. In the name of stabilizing the banking system, Obama will nationalize it. Using TARP funds to write generous checks to needy financial institutions, his administration will demand preferred stock in exchange. Preferred stock gets dividends before common stockholders do. With the massive debt these companies will owe to the government, they will only be able to afford dividends for preferred stockholders -- the government, not private investors.

And what about Health Care? Obama and the socialist Dems will seek to force a Nationalized rationed health care system like the disasters that cover Canada and the United Kingdom.

Without a lot more doctors, nurses, clinics, equipment and hospital beds, health resources will be strained to the breaking point. The people and equipment that currently serve 250 million Americans and largely neglect all but the emergency needs of the other 50 million will now have to serve everyone. And as government imposes ever more draconian price controls and income limits on doctors, the supply of practitioners and equipment will decline as the demand escalates. Price increases will be out of the question so the government will impose health care rationing, denying the older and sicker among us the care they need and even barring them from paying for it themselves. (Rationing based on income and price will be seen as immoral).

Even more scary is how Obama plans to get an even larger share of the vote by buying off illegal immigrants with amnesty:

He will move quickly to legalize all those who have been in America for five years, albeit illegally, and to smooth their paths to citizenship and voting. He will weaken border controls in an attempt to hike the Latino vote as high as he can in order to make red states like Texas into blue states like California. By the time he is finished, Latinos and African-Americans will cast a combined 30 percent of the vote.

Is this the "change" you voted for? Have more of your money confiscated and then have it redistributed among illegals and other moochers? Have your quality health care replaced by sub-standard nationalized health care?

If so, you will reap what you sow. If not, you'll have a good, long, hard four years during which you may consider the results of the previous four years.

Jimmy Carter Vs. Barack Obama: Can You Guess Who Said What?

A few months ago, Barack Obama tried to link John McCain with the current administration by saying that electing McCain would be "Geroge Bush's third term." Not to be outdone, John McCain fired back charging that Barack Obama would be "Jimmy Carter's second term."

That quip may have been lost on the younger crowd but those of us old enough to remember the disaster that was the Carter Administration understood it perfectly.

We remember the double-digit inflation, the double-digit unemployment rate, the gas-lines, the weak-kneed response to Islamic terrorism and a complete ignorance of the threats that were pointed directly at the United States. It was all there and all of it will be repeated under a President Obama, except with even more devastating effects. Jimmy Carter's economic policies were very Socialistic in nature, but Barack Obama's is bordering on collectivist.

Anyway, Lisa Fabrizio has come up with a quick quiz to see if you can tell the difference between Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter.

Unlike the billions of dollars that we ship to foreign countries to pay for foreign oil, these funds will be paid by Americans to Americans. 8) I believe we should immediately give every working family in America a $1,000 energy rebate, and we should pay for it with part of the record profits that the oil companies are making right now. 9) In just ten years, these steps will produce enough renewable energy to replace all the oil we import from the Middle East. 10) I am tonight setting the further goal of cutting our dependence on foreign oil by one-half by the end of the next decade. 11) Think about how World War II forced us to transform a peacetime economy still climbing out of Depression into an Arsenal of Democracy that could wage war across three continents. 12) Just as a similar synthetic rubber corporation helped us win World War II, so will we mobilize American determination and ability to win the energy war. 13) I’ll also extend the Production Tax Credit for five years to encourage the production of renewable energy like wind power, solar power, and geothermal energy. 14) I am asking for the most massive peacetime commitment of funds and resources in our nation's history to develop America's own alternative sources of fuel — from coal, from oil shale, from plant products for gasohol, from unconventional gas, from the sun. 15) Think about when the scientists and engineers told John F. Kennedy that they had no idea how to put a man on the moon, he told them they would find a way. 16) We ourselves are the same Americans who just ten years ago put a man on the Moon. 17) We will set a goal of making our new buildings 50 percent more efficient over the next four years. 18) I'm asking Congress to mandate, to require as a matter of law, that our nation's utility companies cut their massive use of oil by 50 percent within the next decade and switch to other fuels, especially coal, our most abundant energy source. 19) And we’ll invest in the technology that will allow us to use more coal, America’s most abundant energy source . . .

Oil And Gas Prices Are Going So High That ExxonMobil Is Selling Off Gas Stations For Lack Of Profit

If you are one of those diehards who refuses to believe that the oil companies are not engaged in price gouging, you need to read the following from CNN:

Oil giant Exxon Mobil Corp. plans to sell its company-owned gas stations, saying they aren't profitable enough even with gasoline selling at $4 per gallon.

Now, how could gas station be "not profitable enough" if they are reaping extra profits through price gouging?

This is simply one of the first signs that serious economic downturn is on the horizon and coming at us fast. If oil companies are becoming reluctant to distribute, that will mean supply shortfalls which in turn will lead back to the gas lines we saw in the late 1970's under Jimmy Carter.

The Dems in Congress need to stop fooling around with idiotic ideas like investigating bogus price gouging claims, suing OPEC and trying to punish consumers by raising the price of gas through harsh taxes. Instead, we need to produce right here at home and we need to do it now. (ANWR, Offshore drilling, Oil-shale.)

The nation's largest oil company, which earned nearly $41 billion last year, says it will sell more than 2,000 stations over the next few years. "The fuels marketing sector is a very challenging market," ExxonMobil spokesperson Prem Nair said, adding that the company is feeling particular pressure from hypermarkets like Wal-Mart that sell gasoline.

Again, if they were able to manipulate the price of gas, this wouldn't be happening.

Jimmy Carter Provides A Major Public Relations Coup To Terrorists

I honestly don't see how any rationally thinking human being can view this as anything other than idiotic, disrespectful to the innocent vitims of terrorism and just plain evil. From Al-Jazeera:

Jimmy Carter, the former US president, has laid a wreath at the grave of Yasser Arafat, the late Palestinian leader, further defying Israeli leaders already critical of his plans to meet Hamas.

Yes, you read that right. A former U.S. President, the same one who looked like a spineless jellyfish in the face of a terrorist take-over of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran back in 1979, has rendered honors to a known murdering terrorist: the monster Yassar Arafat.

How much damage has he done to us now? How long will it be before the Islamics see his act as a sign of weakness and attack again? Does Carter realize how disrespectful he is being to all the innocent victims of Palestinian terrorism? If so, does he even care?

More importantly, where are the Democrats on this? Why are they not speaking out against Carter for putting the Dems in such a bad light?

I know the answer to that last question. The Dems honestly don't see Carter as having done anything wrong. And that is probably scarier than Carter actually laying a wreath at the tomb of a terrorist!
